In the summer of 1999, I accompanied Ganga and a group of friends to London where Ganga would be conducting satsang at the Ramana Maharshi Foundation UK. At the house of .Alan Jacobs, the founder, we met Paula Marvelly. Paula looked to me like a typical english lady who would have you over for tea and crumpets. When Paula told me she was in the process of writing a book on advaita satsang teachers, I was surprised. And doubly surprised that she wanted to interview me. We met in alan's study a few days later while downstairs there were lots of people laughing and listening to spiritual stories. We sat down on a sofa bed with lots of cushions (I don't remember being particular close to paula) and begun.
